From this episode... I can tell brotherly bond is quite strong. Madara's lil bro died.... He wanted nothing else but power. Hashirama chose to kill himself than Tobirama when offered the chance because of the bond an older brother has to the younger brother. Itachi respected sishui and were like brothers, also, one of itachi' s reason to massacre all the Uchia was because he was offered to kill them all and spare his lil bro, or launch the coup and die with them all.
